Henna brows have made huge advances in recent years, and there are more and more brands on the market that focus on henna as the alternative to tinting brows. Henna Brow offers flexibility when it comes to coloring the eyebrows and underlying skin tissue. The results from henna brows typically last between 2-4 weeks depending on skin type and skincare regimen. Case studies show that henna brows last longer on drier skin than on oily skin, so this is something to consider when performing this procedure on clients.
What is Henna Brow?
Henna Brow is a product based on Indian henna. Color pigments have been added to give the henna a beautiful light to dark brown color. When working with pure henna, you will eventually get a reddish print on the skin. That is, for example, the result with traditional henna decorations in many Eastern countries. In addition, the color pigments ensure that the henna draws into the skin more quickly. So you do not have to wait for hours, as is the case with pure henna. Henna Brow on the other hand is never pure in nature, and that is required for the purpose of brow henna application. Not only will the henna stain your brow hair, it will stain the skin under and around the brows offering a nice, full coverage semi permanent brow color. This is the PERFECT option for someone who desires full brows without having to turn to permanent tattooed microblading or shading.
The cost for this procedure averages between $45-$125 depending if the procedure includes shaping and/or waxing as well as the thickness of brows. To best gage the cost of what you should charge we recommend checking your area for a market standard.
This is also a great POST brow lamination service as brow lamination can cause lightening of the brow hair. Please wait 24-48 after brow lamination to apply brow henna.
