What is Dissolve Injection Lipolysis by ScalpaMED?
- Safe and effective non surgical injectable treatment.
- Effectively removes fat cells and cellulite with little pain
- Stimulate Collagen and provides lifting effect
- Prevents the formation of new fat cells
Injection Lipolysis chemically reduces the number of fat cells around the injection site. The active ingredient, deoxycholic acid, triggers a process known as ‘apoptosis’ or programmed cell death. When injected below the chin and other areas of the face and body, injection lipolysis is able to reduce unwanted fat that contributes to the appearance of submental fullness, cellulite and dense fat.
Deoxycholic Acid is a US FDA approved fat dissolving material and human bile acid, a metabolic byproduct of human intestine bacteria. In the human body, deoxycholic acid is used in the emulsification of fats for the absorption in the intestine.
How does it work?
Lipolysis by deoxycholic acid/ Deoxycholic acid induces the destruction of normal fat cells in the face or body. 10% per 1ml
Phosphatidylcholine, another active ingredient in Scalpamed Dissolve, is a natural component of cell membranes, so it is safe and does not interfere with the functions of the skin.
L-carnitine takes an active part in the lipolysis process, acting as a conductor of fatty acids and promotes their transfer into the mitochondria. It also nourishes, softens and whitens the skin, stimulates its recovery and increases hydration.
The unique formula of the Scalpamed Dissolve solution also arouses the normal fat cells by leading to excessive absorption of water in the cells.
This treatment involves micro injections of fat-dissolving substances to specifically target stubborn localised fat deposits that generally respond poorly to diet and exercise. Sometimes, no matter how much you diet or exercise, the fullness in this area may not go away.
Fat cells dissolved with Scalpamed Dissolve don't return although surrounding fat cells can increase in size with weight gain. Most people get visible improvement in two to four treatments, spaced two weeks apart or more. We see an average decrease in circumference of about 1" in the thighs or abdomen after a series of four treatments, but results vary.
What to expect during the procedure:
The formula is injected through tiny needles into fatty areas that must be at least 1/2 inch thick. In the first few hours after a treatment, the area injected becomes pink & and a burning or itching sensation develops, which is uncomfortable but tolerable, and most patients continue with their usual activities. One can also expect to see a pinkish hue to their urine.
When will I see results?
Like most fat reduction therapies, the results of Injection Lipolysis appear gradually over a few months, as the fat cells die & disappear. Results vary of course, but in most case studies, patients average a loss of about 1/2" in the circumference of their thighs or abdomen, after four treatments.
